Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in to Allegro. It's a near-real-time view of how readers are engaging with your content, how your audience is growing, and when members are logging in — so you can spot trends without digging through lists or reports.

Dashboard

The page refreshes on its own while it's open: the engagement chart updates roughly every 20 seconds, and the growth and login charts every few minutes. You never need to reload.

Top Pages by Engaged Time

The Top Pages card ranks the pages your readers are spending the most engaged time on over the last hour. Engaged time counts only the time a page is actually open and active in front of a reader, not time spent in a background tab.

  • Pages are listed highest-to-lowest, with a bar showing total engaged time.
  • Hover a bar to see the page's total engaged time, its number of views, and the average engaged time per view.
  • Click a bar to open that page in a new tab.

This card is the most live part of the Dashboard and refreshes about every 20 seconds, so you can watch engagement shift as a new article picks up readers. If no engagement has been recorded in the last hour yet, the card says so.

Audience Growth

The Audience Growth card plots how many new members joined each day over the last 30 days, so you can see whether sign-ups are trending up or down.

  • The solid line follows the actual number of new members per day.
  • A separate faded marker sits above today showing the projected end-of-day total. Because the current day is still in progress, this projection estimates where today is on track to land based on the pace so far and your recent daily average — so a young day reads as "on track to" rather than a sudden drop.

Two headline figures sit above the chart:

StatMeaning
Today (projected)The estimated total new members for today, with an indicator comparing it to the previous day.
New · 30 daysTotal new members over the last 30 days, with a trend indicator.
note

"Today" follows your organization's configured time zone, so the day rolls over at local midnight rather than UTC.

Logins per Hour

The Logins per Hour card charts member logins for each hour over the last 72 hours, so you can see daily rhythms and the impact of a campaign or send.

Two headline figures sit above the chart:

StatMeaning
Last 24hTotal logins in the last 24 hours, with an indicator comparing it to the previous 24 hours.
Peak hourThe single busiest hour in the window, with its login count and the time it occurred.

Hour labels and the peak-hour time are shown in your organization's time zone.

When data is unavailable

Top Pages and Logins per Hour are powered by Allegro's analytics backend. If that backend is temporarily unreachable, those cards show "Analytics data is temporarily unavailable" and recover automatically once it's back — the rest of the Dashboard keeps working. Audience Growth is drawn from your member records directly, so it stays available regardless.
