# Set User Attributes

Set the values of several user attributes for the authenticated audience member in one request, keyed by attribute slug. A `null` value clears the member's stored value for that attribute. Every slug is resolved and every value validated against its attribute's type and configured rules before anything is written, so the whole request fails without saving if one entry is bad: a 404 `USER_ATTRIBUTE_NOT_FOUND` error listing the unknown slugs, a 403 `USER_ATTRIBUTE_NOT_EDITABLE` error listing the slugs the member may not edit, or a 422 with errors keyed `values.<slug>`. A refreshed JWT containing the updated attribute claims is returned.
